Hiding the keyboard on search results

On movies section searching for a movie, when results show up the keyboard is not closing. This is very disturbing and you can do this with the following commands:
InputMethodManager inputManager = (InputMethodManager) getSystemService(Context.INPUT_METHOD_SERVICE);
inputManager.hideSoftInputFromWindow(getCurrentFocus().getWindowToken(),InputMethodManager.HIDE_NOT_ALWAYS);

    No, it is bad practice to hide the input method by force as it may be required (like for accessbility reasons), see the Android docs. It is up to the user to close any input method. Uwe

        Ok, but what about the fact that when the user search for a movie the keyboard remains on screen and hides the half screen of the results?
